Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data 2K Electrical Services collects through this website and what we do with it. The data controller is 2K Electrical Services, Hammersmith Grove, London W6. You can contact us through the contact form on this site or by phone on 07756 882138.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we receive the name, phone number, e-mail address, postcode and message you type, and any photos or PDF files you attach. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to carry out the work and keep the records that electrical certification and tax law require. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, later, the performance of a contract with you.
Spam protection
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile processes your IP address and some technical information about your browser on Cloudflare's servers for that purpose. Cloudflare's privacy policy describes this processing. The form also records how long you took to fill it in; that number is used only for the spam check and is not stored.
The WhatsApp buttons open a chat with our business number in the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and from that point the conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for the spam check to work on the contact page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Records of work we have carried out, including the certificates we issue, are kept for as long as the law and our registration body require.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Ask us through the contact form or by phone on 07756 882138. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
